At 09.30 a.m. on 13 July 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pattarapong Makarawate, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, together with the university’s executive team, presided as an honored guest at the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the development and transfer of technologies and innovations to advance knowledge in immune cell therapy for medical treatment, between Khon Kaen University and Wincell Research Co., Ltd.

This collaboration marks a significant step in uniting Khon Kaen University’s medical research expertise with the private sector’s capabilities in cell and immunotherapy innovation, working together to develop treatment technologies that will benefit the medical field and patients in the future.

The ceremony saw Asst. Prof. Dr. Wiyada Punjaruk, Acting Director of the Cell Therapy Center, Khon Kaen University, and Dr. Olarn Piamkulvanich, Managing Director of Wincell Research Co., Ltd., sign the Memorandum of Understanding. The ceremony was presided over by Prof. Dr. Thidarut Boonmars, Vice President for Enterprise and Sustainable Society, and was honored by the presence of the university’s executives and faculty members. It was held at the Sarasin Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Sirikunakorn Building, Office of the President, Khon Kaen University.
